Maxim Liker joined Mozaic in 2025 via the internship program at Mozaic. As an Intern, he developed an internal data aggregation platform for macroeconomic research, combining technical experience with a passion for financial markets. In our investment research group, he plays an important role in Mozaic’s private and public markets investment research.

Maxim will be graduating with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Mathematics from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) in June 2026. His coursework emphasized number theory, stochastic statistics, machine learning and entrepreneurial studies. During his studies, Maxim was an analyst at the UCSB Investment Advisory Committee and was a finalist in UCSB’s premier startup competition, the New Venture Competition.

Outside of work, Maxim enjoys playing golf and hockey, listening to podcasts, and watching ice hockey.
