Kenneth Mayfield joined Mozaic, LLC in 2014 and has more than 12 years of investment and portfolio planning experience. At Mozaic, Kenneth is responsible for the oversight of clients’ portfolio planning processes, including asset allocation, working with tax experts to advise on strategic tax planning strategies, liquidity management, concentrated position management, and investment strategy implementation. Kenneth's expertise extends to private aviation, advanced estate planning strategies, and philanthropic planning.

Kenneth embarked on his professional career as an auditor with the United States Department of Defense (DCAA). In this role, he played a pivotal role in delivering audit and advisory services for acquisitions and contract administration, focusing on high-profile programs such as the DoD's F-35 Lighting II, F-18 Hornet, and RQ-4 Global Hawk programs. Prior to his career in the accounting and wealth management industries, Kenneth served four years of active duty (2003-2007) with the United States Marine Corps, serving in the infantry with 1st Battalion 1st Marines.

Kenneth graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. Kenneth is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and has passed Level 2 of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) program.
