Alexander Cox

Managing Director

Alex Cox joined Mozaic in 2026 as Managing Director, Business Development. He has over 18 years of experience in ultra-high-net-worth wealth management and working with large family offices.

Alex began his career at J.P. Morgan in 2007 as an investment banking analyst where he eventually worked closely with the co-Chief Executive Officer of its Investment Banking group. Alex then joined the J.P. Morgan Private Bank in 2010 and helped open its Miami office. In this role, he was responsible for the business development growth and success of all five Florida J.P. Morgan Private Bank Offices, including Miami, Boca Raton, Palm Beach, Naples, and Tampa. In 2013, Alex moved to Los Angeles to work with the Vice Chairman of J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank in Century City. On that team, he managed wealth for 14 of the Forbes 400 Billionaires and oversaw $8 billion in client assets.

In 2020, Alex joined the founders of the Sci-Fi Channel, Movietickets.com, and Broadway.com in their single-family office. In that role, Alex provided advice on the family’s private investments, represented the family in meetings, negotiated deals, and raised capital for the family's portfolio companies and content libraries.

Alex most recently worked as a Team Leader at BNY Wealth Management in Fort Lauderdale, Florida from 2023-2025. He also previously worked from 2018-2020 as Senior Vice President in the Private Bank at Citigroup in Beverly Hills, California.

Alex earned a B.S. degree in Business Finance from Miami University of Ohio’s Richard T. Farmer School of Business in 2008. Alex serves as an advisor to the Partners In Kind Foundation and loves watching anything science fiction related with his African grey parrot, Cosmo.
