Kenneth Mayfield joined Mozaic, LLC in 2014 and has more than nine years of investment and portfolio planning experience. At Mozaic, Kenneth serves as the primary point of contact for many of our clients. He is responsible for the oversight of their portfolio planning process, including asset allocation, advising on strategic tax planning strategies, advanced liquidity management, concentrated position management, and investment implementation. Kenneth's expertise extends to advanced estate planning strategies and philanthropic planning, ensuring clients and following generations are adequately considered and cared for.

Kenneth embarked on his professional career as an auditor with the United States Department of Defense (DCAA). In this role, he played a pivotal role in delivering audit and advisory services for acquisitions and contract administration, focusing on high-profile programs such as the DoD's F-35 Lighting II, F-18 Hornet, and RQ-4 Global Hawk programs. Prior to his career in the accounting and wealth management world, Kenneth served four years of active duty (2003-2007) with the United States Marine Corps, serving in the infantry with 1st Battalion 1st Marines.

Kenneth graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. Kenneth has passed Level 2 of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) program.

When Kenneth isn't tirelessly working to enhance our clients' financial futures, he indulges in his passion for the outdoors, globe-trotting to new countries, embarking on long motorcycle rides, and cherishing precious moments with his wife and their handsome mastiff companion, Roland.
